Grosseck/Speiereck Adventure Mountain
Grosseck/Speiereck Adventure Mountain has lots to offer you and, naturally enough, in summer, too. In order to reach the mountain, you can use the floodlit hiking path from the town center of Mauterndorf. Awaiting the smallest amongst us are a petting zoo, a playground, a trampoline, as well as a summer-tubing run. The lifts also run in summer, which means you will have no problems at all getting to the trail heads for a number of beautiful hikes.

Mauterndorf Adventure Pool
This pool offers all kinds of fun and action for adults and kids. A large heated outdoor pool with giant slide, mini golf course, table tennis tables and 2 tennis courts. When you are ready to sunbathe, there is a broad area to stretch out in, while for the littlest ones there is a paddling pool and a play stream. And whenever your tummy begins to grumble, there is even a pool-side snack bar.

Taurachbahn
Austria's highest narrow-gauge railway:
This historic train travels from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä and back through the Taurach Valley. Over 20 years ago, Club 760 opened up Taurachbahn service after extensive restoration work on this stretch of line.
